Hertsal symptom (German name - Hertzelsymptom) is one of the most common signs that may indicate the presence of a tumor in the brain.

Description of the symptom: the symptom is characterized by the occurrence of a dull pain in the frontotemporal region, which can intensify with coughing, sneezing and other head movements. In addition, this symptom includes tinnitus, dizziness and loss of balance. This symptom occurs when pressure increases inside the skull or when there is a tumor inside the brain. The study of Hurtsell's symptom is carried out using neuroimaging methods, such as computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.
