Light shining into the pupil over different periods of time changes the radiation density and it looks different colors under the same lighting. Also among reptiles there are species with multi-colored variations of the iris, including a mutation of two copies in one body, combining colors from different areas of the eyeball.

Color variations in the iris are caused by melanin pigmentation. The difference lies precisely in the difference in the amount of its concentration in different areas of the eye, hence the different colors of the colors in the eyes. The suffix in the term “ano”, which means “unequal”, indicates the reason for the origin of the color of the iris - the pigment is located unequally. The term color difference, which distorts the real state of things regarding the shade of the eyes, can lead to some kind of inferiority of the individual (negative connotation), despite the fact that eyes with different shades are in many ways a beautiful and original manifestation of the genetic inheritance of the body.
