Heyrovsky Esophagogastrostomy

**Heyrovsky-Terentyev** is one of the types of gastrostomy: creating a connection between the stomach cavity and the external environment. A triangular wound in the anterior wall of the stomach is located below and slightly to the right of the midline. The operation is performed for wounds and burns of the abdominal and chest organs, accompanied by bleeding, shock, surgical treatment of massive peritonitis, purulent processes, mechanical jaundice, obstruction of the superior mesenteric artery, etc. With delayed G.-T. A fistula is inserted into the stomach through the stomach (using polyethylene drainage). Extensive access facilitates removal of foreign bodies; allows for extramedullary tumor treatment.
