Holography

Cholegraphy is a method of x-ray examination of the gallbladder and bile ducts using cholecystography after the introduction of a contrast agent into the cavity of the bladder.

Holography can be performed using various methods:

– cholecystography (x-ray examination of the gallbladder)
– cholangiography (x-ray examination of the bile ducts)

The cholegraphy technique involves injecting a contrast agent into the gallbladder using a needle. After this, a series of x-rays are taken to evaluate the condition of the gallbladder and bile ducts.

The results of cholegraphy can be used to diagnose various diseases of the biliary tract, such as cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, etc.

Currently, cholegraphy is an outdated diagnostic method, which is being replaced by more modern and less invasive methods such as ultrasound and computed tomography.
