Hypogonadotropism

Hypogonadotropism is a condition in which the hypothalamus does not produce enough gonadotropin hormones (LH and FSH), necessary for the normal functioning of the gonads.

Hypogonadotropism can be caused by various reasons, such as brain injury, tumors, infections, metabolic disorders, etc.

Symptoms of hypogonadotropism may include menstrual irregularities, infertility, decreased libido and other sexual dysfunction.

Treatment for hypogonadotropism depends on the underlying cause and may include hormonal therapy, surgery, or a combination of these methods.

Hypogonadotropism is a serious medical problem that requires timely diagnosis and treatment.

Hypogonadotropic syndrome (HTS) is a delay in puberty with insufficient growth of the genital organs.
