Ibalgin: an effective anti-inflammatory drug produced in the Czech Republic

Ibalgin, whose international name is ibuprofen, is one of the most widely used anti-inflammatory drugs on the market. It belongs to the pharmacological group of propionic acid derivatives and is produced in the Czech Republic by the company Zentiva a.s.

Ibalgin is available in various dosage forms, including a cream for external use containing 5% of the active substance - ibuprofen. This makes it possible to apply the drug directly to the affected area, which helps to quickly relieve pain and inflammation.

The drug Ibalgin is widely used to treat various conditions associated with inflammation and pain. It is effective for rheumatoid arthritis, reactive synovitis with deforming osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, acute joint attack with gout, ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew's disease) and other rheumatic diseases. In addition, Ibalgin is successfully used for pain in the back, muscles and joints, including lumbodynia, sciatica, thoracic radicular syndrome, bursitis, tendovaginitis, myalgia and neuralgic amyotrophy.

In addition, Ibalgin can be used to relieve pain from toothache, after oral surgery and other conditions. It is also effective for colds, acute respiratory viral infections, febrile conditions and dysmenorrhea.

It should be noted that Ibalgin has a number of contraindications. Its use is not recommended for hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, gastric and duodenal ulcers in the acute phase, ulcerative colitis, aspirin-induced asthma, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, as well as severe impairment of liver and kidney function, heart failure, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

When using Ibalgin, side effects may occur, including dyspeptic disorders (nausea, heartburn, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.), erosive and ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract with signs of gastrointestinal bleeding, headache, dizziness, visual disturbances, swelling, increased blood pressure and allergic reactions on the skin Ibalgin should be used as prescribed by a doctor or according to the instructions for the drug. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on the specific disease and individual characteristics of the patient.
