Infantile

Infantile (from Latin infantilis - childish, infant) is a term used in medicine to describe diseases that occur in adults, but are more characteristic of childhood.

Classic examples of infantile diseases include polio (infantile paralysis) and scurvy (infantile scurvy). Polio most often affects children under 5 years of age, but occasionally affects adults. Scurvy, a disease caused by vitamin C deficiency, is common in infants and young children who do not get enough fresh fruits and vegetables. But scurvy can also develop in adults with a long-term lack of vitamin C in the diet.

Thus, the term "infantile" emphasizes that the disease usually occurs in childhood and not in adults. This is important to consider when diagnosing and treating such patients.

Infantility - etymology The word infantile is of Latin origin - infantilis, and translated means “childish”.

The term infantilism is used to describe the character of a person or group of people who behave childishly, that is, they demonstrate naivety, defenselessness and irresponsibility. Unfortunately, unlike the Russian translation, infantile people sometimes become hostages of their behavior.

What makes up infantile behavior? A person does not become infantile immediately, but only under certain conditions. He may already have a higher education and a decent amount of work experience behind him, but still show childishness. Why is this happening?

Because factors appear that remind him of his childhood. There are a lot of reasons for infantile behavior, for example, for women this is a common reason - a break in the relationship between partners.

So it happens that a man lives half his life, collects the fruits of love, and then suddenly breaks off the relationship, leaving the girl with the child in her arms. She begins to feel uneasy
