Iridocyclochoroiditis

Iridocyclitis is an inflammation of the membranes of the eye (iris and ciliary body), usually of infectious origin. Much less often it develops as a result of a metastatic inflammatory process or as a result of eye injury. With trachoma, swelling of the connective tissue capsule of the iris is observed. Iridocyclitis is one of the most common ophthalmic diseases that occurs against the background of various infections caused by viruses or fungi, as well as rickettsia, pneumococcus, gonococcus and other bacterial pathogens. This is what inflammation in the eyes is called. The disease can be painful and require treatment. But you can’t just rejoice at the changes you notice in your health: the longer this illness continues, the greater the likelihood of developing complications.

Iridocyclitis is an inflammation of the iris and submucosal choroid, usually involving the ciliary body. Iridocyclitis occurs in adults and children. Usually the frequency is from 15 to 20% of all inflammatory eye diseases.
