Norway willow is a plant of the willow family. Acute willow leaves have an antitussive and expectorant effect due to the presence of tannins, flavonoids and salicin.
Willow leaves contain essential oils, vitamin C, carotene, and phytoncides. Main active ingredients: salicin and tannins. Salicin reduces inflammation and irritation of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Tannins have an astringent effect.
Application:
-
For coughs of various origins as an expectorant. Particularly effective for chronic bronchitis.
-
For ARVI, flu, tracheitis, bronchitis as an antitussive.
-
