Canephron N: diuretic drug of plant origin
Canephron N is a drug produced by the German company Bionorica GmbH. The drug belongs to the group of diuretics of plant origin and is intended for complex treatment of chronic infections of the bladder and kidneys, non-infectious chronic inflammation of the kidneys, as well as for the prevention of the formation of urinary stones.
Canephron N is available in two dosage forms: pills and solution for internal use. The composition of the dragee includes crushed medicinal plant materials from centaury herb, lovage root and rosemary leaves. 100 g of drops for oral administration contain 29 grams of the same plant material.
The drug has contraindications - increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Allergic reactions to the components of the drug are also possible. Interactions with antibacterial drugs are possible and reasonable, but interactions with other drugs are currently unknown.
There are no data on overdose and intoxication. If you follow the recommendations for use and after consulting with your doctor, the drug can be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Drops contain 19 vol. % ethanol, therefore this dosage form is not recommended for use after successful treatment of chronic alcoholism.
The drug does not have a negative effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machines. When using the bottle, you must keep it in an upright position and shake it before use. During storage, slight turbidity or slight precipitation may occur, but this does not affect the effectiveness of the drug.
