Diplopodia

Diplopodium is a rare condition that occurs in some amphibian species. It is characterized by the fact that the legs of these animals lengthen and diverge, and the size of the feet also increases. This allows them to move on land more easily and search for food more conveniently. However, such an elongation can be life-threatening for the animal, as it makes it difficult for it to move and feed. In addition, diplomacy gives these animals a somewhat grotesque appearance. At the moment, it is not known exactly what causes diplomacy in amphibians and how it appeared in evolution.
