Karmolis

Carmolis: an effective local anesthetic and anti-inflammatory agent for pain in the musculoskeletal system

Carmolis is a pharmacological agent produced in Austria and Switzerland, which is used for local anesthesia and inflammation relief for muscle and joint pain, as well as for injuries and bruises of the musculoskeletal system and soft tissues.

Carmolis is available in several dosage forms: drops for internal use, drops and solution for external use, as well as spray. Its composition includes menthol, pine oil, methyl salicylate, camphor, turpentine oil, as well as essential oils of eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary, thyme, Indian mint, sage, nutmeg, anise and cloves.

The drug acts as an irritant of natural origin, thereby improving blood circulation in the area of application, which leads to pain relief and reduction of inflammation.

Carmolis is effective for pain in the musculoskeletal system, including rheumatism, back pain, as well as injuries to ligaments, tendons and soft tissues. However, there are contraindications to the use of the drug, such as hypersensitivity to its components, impaired renal function, pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as children under 12 years of age.

When using Carmolis, side effects may occur, such as allergic reactions and skin irritation in the form of redness and itching. There is no data on the interaction of the drug with other drugs or on overdose.

It is important to remember that Carmolis is intended for external use only and should not come into contact with mucous membranes or eyes. It is not recommended to use it for compresses and bandages, or apply it to large surfaces of the skin for a long time. After using the drug, you must wash your hands thoroughly.

Instructions for use of Carmolis were approved by the Pharmacological Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in 2001. In general, Carmolis is an effective and safe remedy for local anesthesia and inflammation relief for pain in the musculoskeletal system. However, as with any medication, you must follow the directions for use and consult your doctor before starting treatment, especially if you have any medical conditions or are taking medications. It is also not recommended to use Carmolis for self-medication without first consulting a doctor.
