Cataract Secondary True

Is cataract secondary or true?

A cataract, or otherwise cloudy glass inside the eye, is a process of disruption of the transparency of the eye. However, it happens that cataracts are not considered an individual disease. “Secondary” or “true” cataracts develop as a result of some other disease. Maybe

True secondary cataract (TSC) is an opacity that forms as a result of damage to the lens of the eye after removal of a primary cataract or as a result of trauma. IVC can be temporary and early or late, stationary and reactive. The formation of IVC is associated with fiber disintegration, dehydration, compaction and destruction of the stem fibers of the lens. Before restoring the transparency of the lenses, it is necessary to completely remove traumatic factors from the external environment of the patient’s visual system. In children under 5 years of age diagnosed with traumatic IVC, a routine biopsy is used to determine the histotype of cataract.
