Kedani fever

K.'s fever is characterized by the following features: acute onset, hectic temperature, severe tachycardia, shortness of breath, high relative density of urine (1.035-1.052), reduced urinary and normal potassium. In the cerebrospinal fluid, the relative number of cells is usually within normal limits, the protein content in most cases is not changed.

Examining the cerebrospinal fluid of patients with C.M., A.T. Bruns discovered an increase in the number of cells, globulins and the appearance of protein, proteinous cerebrospinal fluid and sometimes xanthochromic cerebrospinal fluid ("Xanthochromic cerebrospinal fluid" - white or yellow cerebrospinal fluid with opalescence, the transparency of which depends on the degree of its alkalinity, due to the presence of proteins and bromophenolic acid). Symptoms of the disease are presented in Fig. 21.9.

Drugs of choice Treatment of C. is based on the use of antiviral drugs of the amantadine group. M2-kan inhibitors are widely used
