Keratosis

Keratosis is a chronic condition that can affect the skin, nails and hair. This term is translated from Greek as "hard", and this disease actually appears as hard or keratinized growths on the skin.

Keratosis is often called hyperkeratosis, since this form of the disease includes excessive growth of epidermal tissue and basal cells.
