Clazomania

Clazomania is a unique mental disorder. The term "clazomania" was first described at the beginning of the 20th century as a condition characterized by constant and loud screaming of a person. The patient may have a tendency to repeat screams of varying tones. Clazomania can be considered not a neurotic pathology, but a manifestation of a psychopathic trait.

Symptoms of Clazomania include constant criticism of others, jealousy, a tendency toward depression, anxiety, and melancholy. Without treatment, there is a possibility of transition of klazomaniac symptoms into more severe forms of mental disorders. Treatment of clazomania, along with other mental disorders, includes the use of psychotropic drugs, cognitive behavioral therapy, and group therapy.
