Pancreatic calculus

Pancreatic calculus (p. pancreatitis) is a stone that forms in the pancreas. Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas that can be caused by a variety of causes, including infection, gallstones, injury, and other diseases.

When a stone enters the pancreas, it can cause pain, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms. If the stone is not removed, it can lead to serious complications such as pancreatic necrosis, sepsis, and even death.

Various methods are used to remove pancreatic stones, such as endoscopic surgery, laparoscopy and open surgery. The choice of method depends on the size and location of the stone, as well as the condition of the patient.

After the stone is removed, the patient must undergo a course of treatment, which may include antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications. It is also important to monitor your diet and lifestyle to prevent the recurrence of pancreatic stones.
