Kristeller's Reception

The Kristeller maneuver is one of the methods of surgical treatment of gynecological diseases. This method was developed by the German gynecologist Karl Kristeller at the end of the 19th century.

Kristeller believed that the cause of many gynecological diseases was a violation of the position of the uterus and its appendages. He developed a method for moving the uterus and appendages into a more correct position. To do this, he used special tools and techniques that made it possible to move the uterus and appendages to the desired position.

This method became very popular in Europe and the USA at the beginning of the 20th century. However, over time it has been proven that this method is not always effective and can lead to serious complications. As a result, this method has been replaced by more modern treatment methods. However, Kristeller administration remains an important treatment for several gynecological diseases, especially in developing countries.
