Hemorrhages (hemorrhages) are one of the most common complications that occur with various diseases and injuries of internal organs. This is due to a violation of the integrity of the vascular wall and the flow of blood into the tissue. Among the causes of hemorrhages, arterial and venous, as well as mixed forms, are particularly prominent.
Brain hemorrhages can be either an independent disease or a symptom of other diseases. These include arterial, diapedetic, extradural, subdural hemorrhages. The main causes of cerebral hemorrhage are severe traumatic head injuries, arterial hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, cerebral aneurysm, brain tumors, arterial thrombosis, medication, vasculitis and other diseases. The predominant age of patients is 40–50 years. Men are affected twice as often.
