Quinoa Scheme

Quino scheme

The Quino scheme is a surgical treatment for kidney disease. It was developed by French surgeon Quinot in the 1980s. The Quino scheme consists of several stages:

  1. Creation of a nephrostomy - a tube that is installed in the kidney to drain urine.
  2. Removing a tumor or stones from the kidney.
  3. Closure of the nephrostomy tube after removal of tumor or stones.

This method is used to treat kidney tumors, kidney stones, nephrosclerosis and other diseases. It helps preserve kidney function and avoid complications such as infection or bleeding.
