Kunta Junius Disease

*Kunta Yunis disease* is a rare disease characterized by a chronic and progressive course. The cause of the disease is a metabolic disorder, which can be caused by a number of factors: genetic predisposition, lack of physical activity, poor diet, stress and others.

Kunta Yunus (Kuhnt, kuhnt, 1851–1926) was a German ophthalmologist and teacher of medicine. The scientific activity of Kunt-Junius is related to work on the treatment of keratitis and corneal ulcers. In my practice I used non-steroidal eye drops (pterygium-ophthalmo-peptide, kuntium). He was a professor of ophthalmology at many universities, as well as the university physician of Breslau. Kunta Younis developed his work on eye problems and was one of the founders of ophthalmology in Germany. He is considered the father of the European ophthalmological school and one of the most important ophthalmologists of his time. The name of his illness may be related to the famous proverb “Don’t treat yourself.”

Kunta Yun-Ius P. made important contributions to the understanding of the pathogenesis of corneal ulcers and the development of effective methods for its treatment. Kunta's main achievements were developing a diet aimed at fighting inflammation and creating antibiotic eye drops. He also studied the influence of viruses, bacteria and fungi on the development of corneal ulcers, and developed methods for testing them, which helped to significantly improve the diagnosis of these diseases. Unfortunately, due to cuts in research funding, his discoveries have not received due recognition. Kontuny Kunta was a brilliant scientist who was constantly in search of new means to combat diseases of the eyeball, so many of his studies remained unfinished.

Kunta Yun-ius's research was aimed at finding an effective solution to the problem of corneal ulcers: improving corneal nutrition through the use of foods rich in zinc and cysteine. Although his diet was successful in reducing corneal inflammation in some patients, it was not effective enough for all corneal ulcer patients in general. Kunt's research was a major breakthrough in ophthalmology, but unfortunately it faced funding cuts and was not widely adopted in clinical practice. Today his method is used to reduce relapses and treat chronic corneal diseases

He also actively studied bacterial infections

In the 20th century, the German-language ophthalmologist was Kunta J. Kuntu, who was considered one of the founders of ophthalmology. He himself personally witnessed many of the studies that were carried out in the field of treatment of eye diseases. Dr. Kunta was a renowned leader in the work of specialists in the field of ophthalmology. He became an honorary doctor of the University of Vienna, where on June 4, 1906 he received the degree of Doctor of Medicine for carrying out unique research work in the field of pediatric ophthalmology, which served as the foundation for this direction. One of the greatest undertakings of an ophthalmologist is the hospitalization of children suffering from eye diseases in special children's clinics for the entire period of treatment of this disease. Thanks to his tireless work, he became increasingly popular, and the number of colleagues who followed his advice increased significantly.

With the rise of the Nazis to power, many prominent figures, especially Hungarians, were stripped of their professional status because of their political views.

During the war, many German scientists, who constituted the cream of the then medicine, made significant strides in creating medical means to treat wounded soldiers of the German army. Among them is the famous German military sanitary doctor, who conducted research work at the medical military department of the Piontkov University in Munich (
