KVIO (Kvio) - coefficient of possible inhalation waste - is a parameter characterizing the likelihood of toxic acute poisoning when inhaling vapors, gases or smoke of explosive, flammable and other substances hazardous to humans. Kvio is determined by the ratio of the square of the thermodynamic boiling point of a high-boiling component or combustion product of a substance to the square of its molecular mass. Its value can also be used as a means to reduce an accident in which the upper respiratory tract is affected and the development of acute suffocation.
