Laidroxyl is an effective antibiotic belonging to the group of first-generation cephalosporins. It is produced in India by Laika Labs Ltd and has the international name Cefadroxil.

The dosage form of Laidroxil includes capsules of 500 mg, tablets of 1000 mg and powder for oral suspension of 125 mg/5 ml or 250 mg/5 ml. The active substance is Cefadroxil.

Laidroxyl is used to treat infectious diseases of the skin and soft tissues, genitourinary organs, tonsillitis and pharyngitis. However, the drug has a number of contraindications. It should not be taken if you are hypersensitive to other beta-lactams, including during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
