Introduction

**Lantseva operation** is a surgical operation to remove the testicle and epididymis on suspicion of the presence of malignant neoplasms. It was proposed by the Swiss urologist Theodor Lanz, who worked at the Göttingen hospital in 1898. Patients prefer to perform this operation only when they do not have the opportunity to undergo a simple cystectomy and radiation therapy; in all other cases, the patient will opt for radiation therapy rather than this operation. Lanczeva surgery is also preferred when the patient is elderly.

Materials and methods: The testicle consists of an epithelial layer, under which there is parenchyma rich in blood vessels that nourishes the epididymis. Impaired blood circulation in the parenchyma leads to hypoxia in the seminiferous tubules, metabolic disorders and degeneration of the spermatogenic epithelium. Hypoxia disrupts metabolic processes, vascular permeability increases, and enzymes easily penetrate the tubules, causing rapid cell death. The prognosis for untimely treatment of testicular cancer is extremely unfavorable. Laparoscopic tumor removal
