As for boils that are harmless and not very malignant, hot water causes them to open and burst, while with rotting boils this causes great harm, because a lot of matter is attracted to them. If you see that hot water is useful for boils, then be sure that the boil is benign.
Know that applying narcissus root dressings, especially with honey, makes any severe boil burst; The composition is boiled in iris oil. The roots of fresh cane with honey, or dry zift with mud from honey bee hives, or aubusilus patch also help. Or they take wax, ratiyanaja and ghee - a ritl each, dry zift and honey - half a ritl, verdigris - three uqiyas and olive oil - a sufficient amount; Garlic medicine also helps very well. Or they take ushshak - six ukiy, wax - four, turpentine wood - four, yellow sulfur - three, soda - three and prepare a plaster from it.
And here is one of the remedies we have tested: they take the core of cotton seeds, rancid nuts, sourdough, boiled cabbage, boiled onions, mustard, pigeon feces, prepare a medicinal bandage from this, and it quickly makes the boil open; Diahilun diluted in mustard seed mucilage and soap diluted in milk also act. One of the medicines that helps to open boils and replaces a puncture is the following: use a plaster made from anacardine honey and fresh zift, mixed on fire in equal quantities, which is placed on the boil for half a day, and it makes the boil burst.
Another strong remedy: take potash and quicklime and put it in water one and a half times the volume. Then the water is filtered, after boiling it, and potash and nura are again put into this water, after which the water is poured into a copper cup and placed on hot coals, and the water condenses and turns into salt. Then they take a little of this salt, as well as ammonia - a quarter of its amount, put it in the mucus of watercress, to which they added a little cashew honey, and consume it.
Or they take Spanish flies, grind them, put them in old olive oil and keep them on low heat, that is, on a fire from hot coals, until the whole composition is mixed. Then the composition is rubbed vigorously, like a plaster, and a medicinal bandage is prepared from it; it especially helps if you add more cashew honey, and even more so if you put falcon feces or sparrow feces or duck feces into the honey. Some doctors also mention buttercup in this regard.
Of the absorbable ones, any acute and absorbable medicine is used and placed on the sore spot twice a day, warming and loosening the organ with the help of poultices with some hot liquid that act in this way; the more the matter dissolves, the less often you apply medicine and poultices. During treatment, one should not do without emollient drugs to soften hardening, if it occurs, and so that the pus does not thicken; if the pus has disappeared and resolved, but the hardening remains, then it is necessary to use only emollients. Medicines that dissolve pus include, among other things, bavrak, mustard, bird feces, arsenic, noura, wild cumin; they are mixed, for example, with incense, turpentine tree resin, mastic, mistletoe and bound with vinegar and old olive oil. This also includes a medicine prepared with garlic, a medicine prepared with chamomile, a medicine prepared with saliva and larkspur, and bavrak with honey - before using all this, the sore spot is cleansed with hot water - as well as such a medicine with marcasite.
The recipe: they take marcasite stone - twelve dirhams, ushshak - the same amount and bean flour - six dirhams. All this is mixed with fresh rathiyanaj and applied to the skin in the form of a mud cake; it is kept in place where pus accumulates until it falls off on its own. This medicine should be consumed immediately after preparation, as it dries quickly.
And here is a medicine made with ammonia.
Recipe: take ammonia - one part, galbanum - a quarter of a part, lead litharge - one part with a third and old olive oil - three parts and two thirds and prepare a mud cake from this. And if the medicine does not help, then, as we said earlier, you have to resort to puncture or cauterization.
