Leucovorin Ca Lachem 25, also known as calcium folinate, is a drug from the folic acid group. Leucovorin Ca Lachema 25 is available in powder form, which after lyophilization is used to prepare an injection solution. The active substance is calcium folinate.
The drug has several synonyms, including Dalizol, Calciumfolinate-Ebeve, Leucovorin Ca Lahema 10, Leucovorin Calcium, Leucovorin-Lance, Leucovorin-Teva, Sanfitcinate and Calcium Folinate.
Leucovorin Ca Lachem 25 is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the drug, as well as in pernicious and other megaloblastic anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency. In case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, the use of the drug is necessary only as a last resort and under the supervision of a doctor.
