Leukemia Osteosclerotic

Osteosclerotic osteoma is a benign tumor arising from the membranes of the bone marrow spaces. Occurs more often than usual in patients with leukemia or lymphoma. Sometimes it becomes the only primary tumor formation. Diagnostics. X-rays can reveal an increase in bone density. The diagnosis can be confirmed using a bone marrow puncture. If leukemia is suspected, both bone marrows are punctured to determine the exact identity of the lesion. Treatment. Surgical removal of the tumor. Currently, research is also being conducted on the use of antitumor hormones and radiation therapy. The patient should be under constant medical supervision.
