Liorodin-Depot: An effective drug for the treatment of mental disorders
Liorodin-Depot (international name: fluphenazine) is a powerful antipsychotic used to treat various mental disorders. This drug is manufactured in Germany by Jenafarm GmbH and Rodleben Pharma GmbH. It belongs to the pharmaceutical group of antipsychotics that are phenothiazine derivatives.

The use of Liorodin-Depot is recommended in the following cases: treatment of schizophrenia (all its forms), acute and chronic psychoses (including paranoid), psychoses of the schizophrenic type with symptoms of fear and psychomotor agitation, senile psychoses, vomiting caused by antitumor chemotherapy, Huntington's chorea, Gilles' syndrome de la Tourette, hypersexual disorders and other conditions.
However, there are some contraindications to the use of Liorodin-Depot. This drug is not recommended for hypersensitivity to phenothiazines and other components of the drug, organic diseases and brain injuries (especially the hypothalamus), acute depressive states, epilepsy, pheochromocytoma, renal, hepatic and heart failure, coma, prostatic hypertrophy, blood diseases, leukopenia, pregnancy, breastfeeding and children under 12 years of age.
When using Liorodin-Depot, side effects may occur, such as drowsiness, lethargy, disorientation, depression, impaired intellectual function and coordination of movements, decreased blood pressure, impaired conduction and heart rhythm, ECG changes, rhinitis, stomatitis, nausea, vomiting, constipation , cholestatic jaundice, skin hyperpigmentation, dermatitis, weight gain, galactorrhea, amenorrhea, gynecomastia in men, agranulocytosis, photosensitivity and allergic skin reactions. When using fluphenazine decanoate, extrapyramidal disorders, tardive dyskinesia and facial hyperkinesis may also occur.
