Lipoma

A benign tumor of mature adipose tissue, often found in the subcutaneous fatty tissue (Lee's nodules), less often - under the fascia, in the area of the mesentery, omentum, ovary, etc. Lipoma formations are significant, spherical in shape, without fluctuation. The skin over it can be either normal or stretched and mobile. Patients with this pathology may experience heartburn, nausea and constipation, as well as pain on palpation. Lipoma removal can be done either surgically or by liposuction. The surgical method is used for large lipomas and allows for complete removal of the formation followed by excision of scar tissue. Liposuction, on the contrary, allows access to education, but is not successful.
