This drug has a wide range of uses and is used for diseases such as lymphogranulomatosis, myeloma, lymphosarcoma, undifferentiated lung cancer, disseminated melanoma of the skin and some brain tumors.

It is important to consider the interaction of Lomustine with other drugs. It is compatible with other cytostatic drugs, however, when used simultaneously with drugs that inhibit hematopoiesis, theophylline or H2-histamine receptor antagonists, increased myelotoxicity may occur. It is also possible to develop cross-resistance between Lomustine and other alkylating compounds. Phenobarbital may reduce the antitumor effect of Lomustine.

In case of an overdose of Lomustine, side effects may increase. In such cases, you should immediately stop taking the drug and seek symptomatic treatment. There is no specific antidote for Lomustine.
