Luffel

Luffel: an effective remedy for allergic rhinitis

Luffel is a homeopathic remedy produced in Germany by Biologische Heilmittel Heel GmbH. It is widely used to treat allergic rhinitis, or runny nose, and is one of the most popular drugs in its category.

Luffel's composition includes sublingual tablets and a spray for nasal use. The tablets contain active ingredients such as Aralia racemosa D1, Arsenicum jodatum D8, Lobelia inflata D6 and Luffa operculata D12. Nasal spray contains 0.01% benzalkonium chloride and Luffa operculata D4 and D12. These ingredients help relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including nasal congestion, runny nose, itching and sneezing.

The use of Luffel is recommended for allergic rhinitis, but contraindications must be taken into account before starting use. The drug is not recommended for use in case of hypersensitivity to benzalkonium chloride, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding without prior consultation with a doctor.

Possible side effects of Luffel include allergic reactions and dyspeptic symptoms (eg, diarrhea and flatulence) in lactose intolerant individuals when taking large amounts of the drug. Rare cases of irritation, burning of the nasal mucosa, increased nasal secretion and nosebleeds may occur when using the nasal spray.

The interaction of Luffel with other drugs is unknown, and there is also no information about overdose.

If you have thyroid disease, it is recommended that you consult your doctor before starting to take Luffel. If the allergen is pollen, it is recommended to start taking Luffel tablets 4 weeks before the onset of pollen to achieve a systemic effect, and when the pollen appears, also use a nasal spray to achieve a local effect. It should be remembered that when using Luffel, a temporary exacerbation of symptoms is possible. If no therapeutic effect is observed or undescribed side effects occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Luffel is an effective homeopathic remedy for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. However, as with any medication, it is important to consult with your doctor before starting. Your doctor will be able to assess your health, diagnose you, and make recommendations for treating allergic rhinitis.
