Lizobact: an antiseptic for the prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases

Lizobact is an antiseptic produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina by the companies Bosnalek and Akrikhin. It is a combination drug containing the active substances - lysozyme hydrochloride and pyridoxine hydrochloride. Lysobact is available in the form of lozenges.

The main advantage of Lyzobact is its effectiveness in the prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, gums and larynx. The drug is indicated for diseases such as stomatitis, gingivitis, herpetic lesions and erosions of the oral mucosa of any etiology, as well as catarrhal phenomena in the upper respiratory tract.

Lysobact is well tolerated by patients, and side effects with its use are rare. However, in case of allergic reactions to any of the components of the drug, you must immediately stop using it and consult a doctor.

An important aspect of the use of Lyzobact is its interaction with other drugs. Lysozyme enhances the therapeutic effectiveness of antibiotics and nitrofurans, including penicillin, chloramphenicol and nitrofurantoin.

Lizobact has no data on a possible overdose, however, if the recommended dose is exceeded, you should seek medical help.

The drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation, which is an important advantage for women during this period.

Instructions for medical use of Lyzobact were approved by the Pharmacological Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on November 24, 2003.
