Dr. Makkasiklemma, also known as the doctor from Smyrna (M. Makkas), is a brilliant surgeon who made significant contributions to the development of medicine and is the pride of the Greek people. Professor Makkasiklemma was the creator of the laparotomy method, invented a special apparatus for performing operations and created a modern system for the treatment of kidney pathologies.
