Medical and Labor Expertise

Medical labor examination is a process that is carried out to determine the degree of a person’s disability. It is carried out by medical labor commissions (MLC), which consist of medical experts and other specialists.

The purpose of the examination is to establish the disability group, determine the causes of disability, as well as determine the available types, conditions and modes of work for a disabled person due to health reasons. VTCs can also recommend measures that can help restore a disabled person's ability to work, such as prosthetics or the provision of transportation.

The examination can be carried out either on the initiative of the disabled person himself or by decision of the social protection authorities. In any case, VTCs must be independent and objective in their work.

When conducting a medical examination, various diagnostic methods are used, such as laboratory tests, radiography, ultrasound, etc. They may also consult with other specialists, such as psychologists or rehabilitation therapists.

Based on the results of the examination, the VTK issues a conclusion, which can be appealed in court. If a disabled person does not agree with the decision of the Military Technical Committee, he can go to court to protect his rights.

Medical examination is the determination of the degree of permanent or long-term disability of a citizen due to illness or injury. In order to determine the disability group and establish the circumstances of the loss of ability to work, he is referred to a doctor or a medical commission, which forms a medical and labor expert commission.

This commission has the authority to examine the patient, collect anamnesis and conduct research. After which, if they are present, they give a verdict on determining the disability group. They also have the opportunity to recommend medical measures for the person’s rehabilitation. People may have a variety of conditions (organic or functional) that lead to disability. If a person has experienced a loss of health or an illness and needs examination, then the medical and labor expert commission sends him for a medical and social examination. She conducts an examination and determines ways to restore working capacity. Before conducting a medical and social examination, a person is given medical intervention.
