Medofloran

Medofloran is an antifungal drug that is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, nails and hair. It contains the active substance terbinafine, which acts on different groups of fungi.

Medofloran is produced in Greece by Anfarm Gelas. The international name of the drug is terbinafine. Its synonyms include Binafin, Bramisil, Lamisole, Lamicon and Terbinafine.

The main indications for the use of medofloran are fungal infections of the skin and nails, as well as candidiasis of the mucous membranes, including the mouth, throat, genitals and skin. However, like any drug, medofloran has its contraindications and side effects.

Contraindications to the use of medofloran may include hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe renal or liver failure, metabolic disorders, vascular pathologies of the extremities, tumor diseases, blood diseases, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects may include a feeling of heaviness and pain in the abdomen, impaired taste and appetite, and nausea. In rare cases, allergic reactions such as skin rash and itching may occur.
