Mesoglioblastoma

Mesoglio blastiomas are a tumor of mature connective tissue with low malignancy, very common among tumors of the central nervous system. It starts from the cells of the medulla and the membrane of the brain. In the vast majority of cases, it is localized in the cerebral hemispheres and in the brain stem.

Mesoglioma is a tumor that forms from glial cells that make up the central nervous system. It consists of two types of cells: astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. Mesoglial tumors are relatively rare, with an overall prevalence of about 6% of all brain tumors.

One of the most common forms of mesoglioma is mesoglioblastoma. Mesoglioblast, also known as glioblast, is a tumor form of fast-growing neuroepithelial cells. These cells are invasive, meaning they can penetrate nearby tissue and spread throughout the body.
