Metoprolol - beta1 - selective adrenergic blocker. Prescribed in the form of tablets and drops. Produced by three manufacturers: Izvarino, Takeda, Ratiopharm. These are white tablets, consisting of individual slices with a chamfer, numbered engraving on each part. They are sold in metal cell packaging. They contain the active substance - metoprolol hydrochloride 52 mg or 104 mg and auxiliary components: stearic acid, talc, colloidal silica, microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate. One tablet contains: 52.29 – hydroxystrolated beta-phenylethylamine HCl. According to pharmacokinetic characteristics, the drug is absorbed by more than 50%.
