Garnier skin naturals micellar water reviews

I’m sharing my personal impressions of the new product in the Garnier Skin Naturals micellar line

Surely today almost everyone is familiar with pink micellar from the cosmetic brand Garnier. A legendary makeup remover, which is chosen not only by ordinary girls for home use, but also by professional makeup artists. Relatively recently, the brand’s line was replenished with another product, which became micellar water with oils Garnier Skin Naturals.

The product appeared on the Ukrainian market at the beginning of last year, but I only got around to testing the new water three months ago (the reason is obvious ─ I waited until the previous pink micellar ran out

:)

).

“Garnier creates a new generation two-phase formula, enriched with effective oils that remove even waterproof makeup, and micelles - active cleansing particles that attract impurities like a magnet, hold them inside themselves, and then easily remove them from the skin with a cotton pad. By shaking the bottle once, you activate the formula to remove even waterproof makeup and eliminate impurities,” this is what the manufacturer claims.

So, what were my impressions and am I going to use the product in the future? All answers are below.

Micellar water with oils Garnier Skin Naturals: personal impressions

As I already said, for a long time (or, to be more precise, 3-4 years), the classic version of micellar water from Garnier occupied a place of honor in my beauty arsenal, which I was very pleased with. Budget-friendly, large volume (400 ml), economical consumption (stated for 200 uses, in my case up to six months), performs all its functions well, does not cause any skin problems.

And so, when my next “pink girlfriend” (sounds ambiguous, I admit) was over, this new version caught my eye in the store. “Why not try? Moreover, it should be even better at removing makeup, there are oils too!” I thought, and without hesitation I threw the orange bottle into the basket.

Design and volume. The bottle is almost identical to the regular version ─ the same large 400 ml bottle, the only difference is the color of the sticker and the name.

Consistency and smell. Micellar water is two-phase. The top layer is oily, yellowish in color, the bottom layer is a transparent liquid. Before use, the product must be shaken well so that the layers are mixed, then a foamy mixture with subtle shimmering particles is formed. The aroma is cosmetic, sweetish, a little chemical, but not intrusive.

Application and sensations. After shaking, the double oil liquid must be applied to a cotton sponge and the makeup must be removed in the usual way. Makeup is completely washed off with a well-moistened disc several times (one swipe is not enough to remove all remnants of foundation, eye shadow, lipstick, etc.).

Upon contact with the skin, you feel a slight oiliness, you want to wash your face right away, which I definitely do, additionally using a gel or foam cleanser. For what? Firstly, to remove a light oil layer from the face, and secondly, to finally remove cosmetic residues that are not visually visible, but may remain in the pores.

Interestingly, the label itself states that the product “does not require rinsing,” but I think few people will like this greasy feeling on the skin.

large volume - 400ml, does not irritate the skin, does not dry the skin

the aroma remains on the skin for a long time, not everyone will like the aroma, it is better to wash it off the face after use,

Hello everyone! Today I will tell you about Garnier’s new product - micellar water with oils.

In general, such a product as micellar water has been in my cosmetic bag for a very long time. There were different representatives: micellar waters from Loreal, Garnier, Nivea (by the way, there is a review), Clean Line (I didn’t like it at all) and even natural micellar lotion from Kleona (there is also a review). But most of all, I fell in love with Garnier micellar water for sensitive skin, and I’ve even lost count of how many times I’ve bought it.

However, very often curiosity takes over, and so I hold a new product in my hands - new micellar water with oils from the same manufacturer and go to the checkout with it. Even the price didn’t stop me, but it costs an order of magnitude more than my pink favorite.

Garnier micellar water with Skin Naturals oils to remove stubborn makeup.

Micellar water with Garnier oils Price: approximately 350-400 rub. It costs about 100 rubles. more expensive than the classic pink micellar from Garnier. I was a little lucky, I got it on sale, like 300 rubles.

Where to buy: everywhere. The prevalence is huge. Rive Gauche, Perfume-Leader, Magnit Cosmetics, Auchan.

Volume: 400ml. But this is good, it will last a long time.

Micellar water with oils removes even the most stubborn makeup that conventional cleansers cannot remove.

Micellar water with oils is the latest technological achievement of the Garnier brand in the field of micellar cleansers. Micellar water with added oils effectively dissolves waterproof and long-lasting makeup, richly colored cosmetics, and also allows you to remove impurities from the skin in one motion, without irritating even the most sensitive skin.

The skin remains soft and fresh without the unpleasant feeling of tightness and greasy film.

By combining the power of cleansing oils with the effectiveness of micelles, Garnier has achieved a technological breakthrough. When shaken, the two components mix, allowing you to gently remove even the most stubborn makeup without leaving a greasy film.

— Argan oil and cleansing oils, when mixed with micellar water, form an emulsion that completely dissolves makeup. Argan oil prevents dry skin, making makeup removal a skin care routine at the same time.

- Micelles act like magnets, capturing particles of makeup, sebum and impurities, and holding them inside each drop.

Cleansing micellar water with oils instantly removes makeup and impurities from the skin without extra effort. Its soothing effect makes it suitable for even the most sensitive skin and leaves you feeling soft, clean and comfortable.

Shake the bottle to mix the oil and water phases. Soak a cotton pad with micellar water and oils and gently cleanse the skin of your face, eyes and lips without unnecessary friction. The oil dissolves components of waterproof and long-lasting cosmetics that are insoluble in water. This makes the process of removing makeup easier - it simply “slides off” from the skin and eyelashes.

The product does not require rinsing.

Micellar water with Garnier oils Standard transparent plastic bottle for Garnier micellar water.

Everything is designed very beautifully - individual elements and inscriptions on the labels are made in gold, which matches the micellar water itself. The amber-yellow oil phase makes the bottle look very beautiful.

There are laconic stickers on the front and back with detailed information about the micellar water itself, its use, composition, and expiration date.

On top of the bottle there is a cap with a hole that opens and closes with a hinged lid. In general, everything is convenient: the hole is small, the product is removed carefully, and does not flow in a stream.

Consistency, color, smell:

This micellar water is two-phase: there is an oil and water phase.

The oil phase is bright yellow and golden. The aqueous phase is transparent. When shaken, a yellow liquid forms.

BEFORE mixing AFTER mixing After mixing, micellar water remains the same liquid, but acquires a certain viscosity and oiliness, something like liquid hydrophilic oil.

Unlike other micellar waters, this water has a scent. Bright, sweet, intrusive. Over time, you stop noticing it, but I still think that such a scent is inappropriate here.

My impression of using micellar water with Garnier oils.

The process of removing eye makeup, a short test drive and comparison with Garnier pink micellar water.

Micellar water with oils Garnier I will say right away that I did NOT like this micellar water with oils.

I can also say that I most likely would not have been so categorical if I had not used pink micellar water for two years already. Why?

firstly, everything is known by comparison. The pink micellar removes makeup much better, really without friction, and in the case of micellar with oils, I always have to use force to wash off even the most stubborn mascara from my eyelashes (and it’s advertised as a means to remove long-lasting makeup). And even in this case, I then have to wash off the residue with a cleanser.

Let's see how micellar water and oils dealt with mascara (only mascara):

Micellar water with Garnier oils - cleansing1. Makeup before washing off. There is mascara on the eyelashes, remnants of eyeliner on the eyelids.

2. Photo of a cotton pad with micellar water after I applied it to my eye and held it for a while. As you can see, the micellar initially “grabbed” with makeup very poorly.

3. Photo of the cotton pad after I rubbed my eye and eyelashes with it, making an effort, but still being careful.

4. Photo of the eye and remaining makeup after step No. 3. As you can see, makeup (although, what kind of makeup is there, one mascara couldn’t even come off completely. And mascara is not the most durable). Well, three further.

5. Photo of a red and exhausted, but with grief, clear eye.

I did NOT like the micellar water with oils for removing eye makeup; the makeup is washed off, but this is a difficult task for her.

However, I can’t help but attribute the fact that this micellar copes quite well with lipstick (even long-lasting, matte) as a plus. And yet, after removing makeup, a nasty slippery film remains on the lips, which needs to be washed off with water. So, at one moment, almost the only full-fledged plus was covered by a minus.

I don’t remove makeup from my face with this or any other micellar water. More precisely, I washed it off for a while, then stopped due to suspicions that my pores were getting very clogged. After all, you rub, rub the disc over your face, smear the dirt, drive it into the pores... In general, I don’t do that anymore, my life is calmer this way

I wash off my makeup either with just a cleanser, or first apply regular oil (almond, peach) to dry skin, massage and rinse with a cleanser.

Now let’s take a short test drive and compare the effects of pink micellar water and micellar water with oils:

I applied mascara liberally to my hand and let it dry thoroughly.

The top stripe of the mascara uses pink micellar, and the bottom stripe contains oils.

For now, we just apply a cotton pad to the mascara, not three. Here's what happened:

Pink micellar water “grabbed” with mascara much better than micellar water with oils.

Now let's put in a little effort and remove the remaining makeup:

As you can see, the rose water wiped everything clean, but the micellar with oils left streaks.

secondly, the price. Micellar water for sensitive skin (pink) is much cheaper than water with oils. This might not be so important if water with oils turned out to be better in action and effect. But no. Thirdly, micellar water itself causes unpleasant sensations. A thin oily-viscous film remains on the skin. There is no way to do this without rinsing, although the manufacturer says otherwise.

And in general, like this micellar, like any other, I wash it off my skin. Because after all, this is a cleanser, and it, along with the remnants of makeup, dirt, and sebum, remains on the skin. In general, as I wrote above, I haven’t washed off my face makeup with micellar water for a long time.

I'm pleased with the consumption - micellars in this volume are used up in about 3 months with daily use.

Micellar water with Garnier oils

Micellar water with Garner oils is still somewhat effective, but it removes makeup. (although somehow this is also not entirely appropriate, because this water was created to remove DURABLE makeup) And yet it washes away, so even though I regretted buying it, I’ll finish the bottle. And I won't buy it again. I don’t see the point in overpaying for the lack of a decent effect and unpleasant oiliness.

I won’t recommend it even though the water isn’t entirely bad. There are simply better micellar waters for a lower price, and in this case there is simply no point in buying this water.

We always strive for the best to please our customers with the best prices.
