Have a good mood everyone!
I want to sing an ode to micellar water from the Russian company Mirra. I think that many ladies have already tried Micellar waters and found a big plus in their use.
So WHAT IS MICELLAR WATER? Of course, this is not ordinary water. This is a product that contains FATTY ACIDS MICELLES, very small particles surrounded by a liquid medium. A solution with suspended micelles, getting under the skin, “attracts” dirt and fat without damaging the epidermis at all.
Micellar water, like soap, quickly cleanses the skin, but unlike the latter, it DOES NOT CONTAIN ALKALI, which means it does not cause dryness. Micellar water DOES NOT REQUIRE RINSE.
I would like to say on my own behalf that I was very pleased with the product from Mirra. Does its job well. Facial skin looks clean and well-groomed. This magical water instantly restores a feeling of freshness and comfort.
COMPOSITION: complex of soft surfactant solubilizers, highly moisturizing combination of sugars of plant origin (L-fructose, D-galactose and galacturonic acid), multifunctional humectant pentylene glycol, urea derivative, complex fermented hydrolyzate of wheat, rye and oats, birch, linden and raspberry extracts, germ flour wheat, flax seeds.
I recommend.

Advertising beauties with velvety skin claim that micellar water has no equal in the “makeup remover” business.
It is gentle to care for, does not harm sensitive skin, cleanses and moisturizes, is neutral and does not cause allergies. Well, just a salvation from all the troubles that decorative cosmetics bring.
Is it really?
Let’s look at the example of micellar water “MIRRA BIOTECHNOLOGY”.
France is ahead again
Micellar water is trending now.
Not everyone uses this miracle remedy, but many have probably heard about the miraculous water.
It is vying with each other in advertising for girls with unusually clear skin, being mentioned by celebrities in their “beauty recipes” and vying with each other for praise on YouTube.
Why such a craze all of a sudden? From France.
Micellar water was invented there several years ago.
The intentions were good. Micellar water helped when caring for children. It was used as a gentle remedy for skin inflammation, burns and for the prevention of skin inflammation.
Then people with allergic manifestations began to use it, and later cosmetologists paid attention to the miraculous water.
It was recommended for women with very sensitive skin as a cleanser. That is why micellar water should be odorless, tasteless and colorless.
All leading cosmetic companies in France have included this water in their collections.
“Micelles” are microscopic particles that cannot be seen without the help of special equipment. "Mica" means "grain" in Latin. Micelles are particles formed by surfactants (surfactants).
Why does water need micelles?
The main quality of micelles, which has attracted the attention of cosmetologists, is their ability to wash away even the smallest particles of fat well.
Water, which contains micelles, perfectly cleanses dirt and fat deposits on the face. That is why it is considered an ideal makeup remover. Miracle water can be compared to tonic without alcohol.
The scary word “surfactants” should not scare you, because they are present in almost all cleaning products - be it dishwashing liquid or cosmetic cleanser.
The secret is that surfactants come in different degrees of harshness.
Soft - for cosmetics and hard - lauryl sulfate, for example, which is not desirable for use in cosmetics, but is quite often found in shampoos, foams and other makeup removers.
In micellar water, a portion of surfactants should not (ideally!) harm the skin. Therefore, when choosing micellar water, you need to pay attention to the composition. It should not contain alcohol, silicone, synthetic oils, preservatives, fragrances or dyes.
Three discs for one person
The product in question is micellar water “MIRRA BIOTECHNOLOGY” from the popular Russian brand MIRRA.
I have no prejudices regarding cosmetics from Russian cosmetic brands.
There are worthy representatives in this segment and they are worth paying attention to.
I received micellar from MIRRA as a bonus for purchasing the cream.
I have already heard reviews about micellar water and among them there were more positive than negative. Or rather, they were negative only in the case when water of this type is not suitable in principle for the skin.
The color set is standard for MIRRA products: a small bottle is made of translucent white plastic.
Product volume 100 ml.
The lid is convenient. If desired, you can open it completely (unscrew it), but for the convenience of users there is a special small hole in the upper part of the cap. Opens and closes easily. The top of the lid closes tightly.
On the bottom there is an indication of the expiration date and batch number.
On the front side is the name of the product.
On the back - all the text is in Russian, including the composition. The list of ingredients includes plant extracts (birch, linden, raspberry), wheat germ, flaxseed.
The surfactant complex is indicated in the composition.
The manufacturer reports that they are soft.
The main thing for me was that the cosmetic product does not contain alcohol. My skin does not tolerate this ingredient in cosmetic cleansers at all.
At the top there is a description of the properties of micellar water (with its name in parentheses - “lotion”) and recommendations for use.
Below is general information about the manufacturer, storage conditions and mandatory symbols indicating that MIRRA products have an International Quality Certificate (ISO), a “Recyclable Plastic” sign, and a pictogram of belonging to perfumery and cosmetic products.
The consistency of the product is water (that’s what they say), the color is practically invisible on a cotton pad.
A light fragrance is felt, but it is very weak and “calm”, not irritating.
Very soft, but effective. I really get by with three disks.
The first is for removing eyeliner and shadows. I don’t use mascara now, but removing it (when I used it before) doesn’t require “hard” rubbing. Doesn't sting the eyes.
The second is for removing explosives and powder. Removes efficiently, in one disk. No complaints. After testing the GLOV “mittens”, I understand that micellar is a more convenient product for removing makeup.
The third is for lipstick. Removes any lipstick quickly and efficiently.
Very soft and good cleanser for makeup remover.
Manufacturers of other micellar waters do not recommend rinsing off the product after use.
MIRRA, on the contrary, advises to “rinse your skin with plain water.”
I don’t use foams, so I complete the makeup removal procedure with toner.
I liked the result. There is cleansing, there is no stickiness or tightness of the skin.
Of course, micellar water has them, just like any other product.
Micellar water is not perfect. She has skin type restrictions. Cleanses skin well, but only dry, normal and combination skin. Micellar is not suitable for oily skin.
You especially need to monitor the plant extracts that make up the water. The skin may react to some of them with allergies.
There are no medical contraindications to its use.
Pure (without additives) micellar water can be used even in child care, but make sure that the composition does not contain fragrances or other additives.
You should not refresh your face with micellar water multiple times throughout the day. Still, surfactants are not the substances that you need to “feed” your skin.
Small volume. This one (100 ml) is suitable for a trip or when you urgently need to “change” your makeup.
While traveling, you are unlikely to apply a complex “pattern” to your face, but you will clean it from dust and dirt - yes.
The skin's reaction to any micellar water is individual. You can start searching for “yours” with “MIRRA BIOTECHNOLOGY”. Its “micelles” really come to the rescue.
Description
A simple and quick approach to cleansing! When you don’t have time, the necessary detergents, or you simply need a very thorough cleansing of the skin, we recommend using micellar water. A complex of soft surfactants will effectively and delicately cleanse the skin of accumulated impurities without injuring it. The sugars of plant origin included in the product in combination with a urea derivative restore the water balance of the skin. Complex fermented hydrolyzate of wheat, rye and oats softens, relieves flaking, improves biomechanical properties and skin microrelief. The result is cleansed, radiant and moisturized skin!
Micellar water is especially suitable for those who constantly visit the gym, who spend a lot of time in urban smog, or who travel frequently. The product is also indispensable for spot correction of makeup.
