Molodilo Roofing

Sempervivum tectorum is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Crassulaceae family.

It has popular names: roof grass, thunder grass, home onion. In pharmacies it is known as the herb rejuvenated (Herba Sempervivi lectori).

It is a rosette of numerous fleshy leaves, from the center of which grows a flowering stem up to 40 cm high. At the top of the stem there are pink star-shaped flowers collected in an umbrella-shaped inflorescence.

Grows in Central and Southern Europe, as well as in Asia. Often settles on the roofs and walls of houses.

Contains tannins, mucus, resins, malic acid.

Used in homeopathy for menstrual disorders. In folk medicine it is also used as a remedy for burns.
