Muscle tissue

In everyday life, muscle tissue is the layer of muscles surrounding the blood vessels. This term is very suitable to designate such tissue if it contains muscle elements. In Latin, the term “tissue muscularis” is used to designate it. This layer is located between the skin and muscle tissue. In this layer, a small mass of connective and other tissues and organs, as well as blood vessels, may appear. Consisting of fibrous elements is the layer between the muscle layer and the skin or bone layer. This is where the hollow organs and musculoskeletal elements connect. The skin that covers the fatty areas looks more pigmented than the muscle or connective tissue layer around it.
