Nerve Spherical-Saccular

The spherical-saccular nerve (n. Saccularis) is one of the nerves in the human body that is responsible for transmitting signals from the sensory organs and muscles to the brain. This nerve is located in the skull and connects the brain to the inner ear (cochlea).

The spherical-saccular nerve consists of two main branches: spherical and saccular. The spherical branch passes through the temporal bone and connects to the cochlea of the inner ear. The saccular branch passes through the pyramid of the temporal bone and transmits signals from the muscles of the face, tongue and throat.

When the spheroidal sac nerve is damaged or blocked, it can lead to hearing loss, balance problems, speech problems and other symptoms. If this nerve is damaged, you should see a doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
