**Scrotal nerves**

scrotal nerves (lat. plexus scroti, scrotalis) - the anterior half of the peripheral urinary nerve, formed by the anterior branches of the thoracolumbar and lumbar plexuses, which enter the external genitalia. Innervates the skin of the groin area and the inner surface of the scrotum, the muscles of the anterior wall; in men, also the skin of the shaft of the penis and the bulb of the foreskin. In women, the upper part of the anterior branch of the parasympathetic division u (plexus splanchnici) innervates the labia minora and the clitoris.
