Nervous Weakness

Nervous weakness

Nervous weakness is a state of physical and mental fatigue caused by psychological stress or mental disorders. This phenomenon can be dangerous if not treated promptly. Often nervous diseases are combined with other diseases, and then we are talking about complex treatment. Nervous weakness in adults is quite common. It is not an independent disease, but requires treatment, which should be carried out comprehensively.

Signs of nervous weakness

Neurosis and nervous disorder have similar features. The problem appears in the body gradually, and not all at once. Over time, signs of overwork appear in the body: decreased performance, lack of energy. The unpleasant sensations are rapidly intensifying. At the initial stage, the feeling of cheerfulness disappears. The person feels depressed, empty, anxious and nervous. In some cases, problems arise with concentration and difficulty sleeping.

The causes of the phenomenon are most often psychological in nature:

overexertion or fatigue; constant stressful situations; hypothermia or hypothermia; mental fatigue; increased sports loads; poor nutrition. If any problems occur, it is recommended to consult a doctor. A dangerous condition can be eliminated only after the cause has been established. The causes of nervous weakness in adults and treatment in women are the same as in men. The diagnosis is made by a psychiatrist. If necessary, the specialist conducts differential diagnostics. In some cases it becomes irreversible.
