Nerves Supraclavicular Middle

The middle level supraclavicular nerves (nervi supraclavicales medii) are a branch of the upper trunk of the brachial plexus. They pass through the armpit, after which they go around the top of the sternum and descend to the medial side. When emerging from under the deltoid muscle, they form a flat vertical formation - the innervation of the lateral cervical muscle. The formed anterior and posterior branches give innervation to the pectoralis major and minor external and subscapularis muscles.

The blood supply to the vessels occurs through the brachiocephalic vein. Venous outflow is provided by the system of veins and their tributaries. Innervation is provided by the upper trunks of the brachial, lower thoracic and superior mesenteric nodes.
