Neuroma Traumatic

**Traumatic neuroma (n. traumatum)** is an acute or chronic, benign lesion of the peripheral nerves associated with a history of limb fractures. This damage is often accompanied by the development of syndromes of neurogenic stasis, hyposensitivity or paralysis of the limbs, as well as impaired skin sensitivity and static-dynamic function. Mostly traumatic neuromas can occur on the lower extremity, but in addition to the lower extremities, damage can affect both the upper extremities and the lumbar spine. Traumatic neuromas are predominantly found in men.
