Nifadil

Nifadil is a calcium channel blocker used to lower blood pressure and relieve (prevent) angina attacks in various clinical situations associated with high blood pressure. Produced in Macedonia, sold in the form of 10 mg tablets.

Main indications for use: - arterial hypertension; - prevention of angina pectoris - preventing an attack of angina pectoris in both healthy and diabetic patients; - hypertrophy (obstruction) of the left ventricle of the heart, - Raynaud's disease; - COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).

The drug is contraindicated in the presence of the following conditions and diseases: - Pregnancy. Lactation. In rare cases and in large doses, it can cause the development of intrauterine fetal anomalies; - hypersensitivity to the active substance or other components of the drug; - increased blood pressure (acute period of myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock); - severe obstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract (aortic and mitral stenosis); - decompensated heart failure; - congestive or senile cardiac arrhythmia; - hypotension;

Not recommended for use in case of individual intolerance to metabolites of the drug. It is prohibited for use in case of paradoxical arterial hypotension after using nitrates, beta blockers, alcohol, herbs, especially Diphenhydramine. Use with caution by persons over 60 years of age.
