Nicardia is a drug from the group of calcium channel blockers (CaCC), containing the active substance - nifedepine. It is intended for the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system and hypertension (high blood pressure).
The main indications for the use of Nicardia are arterial hypertension and prevention of angina pectoris, as well as hypertrophy and obstructive cardiomyopalia.
The drug is contraindicated in the presence of hypersensitivity, acute myocardial infarction, cardiogenic shock, severe aortic stenosis, cardiac decompensation and severe arterial hypotension. In addition, the drug should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding. In pediatric practice, its use is not recommended due to lack of safety and effectiveness.
