Dosage forms - tablets 10 mg
Composition - Active substance - Isosorbide dinitrate.

Indications for use: Angina pectoris (relief and prevention of attacks), acute myocardial infarction, acute left ventricular failure, hypertension, congestive heart failure.

Contraindications - Hypersensitivity, anemia, cerebral hemorrhage or recent head injury, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, hypotension, pregnancy, lactation (breastfeeding must be stopped), childhood.

Side effects - Rush of blood to the face and neck, headache, nausea, vomiting, orthostatic hypotension, restlessness, tachycardia.

Interaction - Antihypertensive drugs (calcium antagonists, other vasodilators), tricyclic antidepressants, and alcohol increase hypotension, sympathomimetics reduce the antianginal effect.

Overdose - Symptoms: cyanosis of the lips and nails, severe dizziness or fainting, a feeling of pressure in the head, weakness, shortness of breath, weak and rapid heartbeat, elevated body temperature, convulsions. Treatment: symptomatic.

Special instructions - To prevent the development of tolerance (addiction), it is recommended that after 3-6 weeks of regular use, take a break for 3-5 days.
