Occupational Hygiene

Occupational hygiene - (syn. G. industrial) - the science of measures to prevent diseases caused by industrial conditions of life, work and everyday life of people, as well as the prevention of industrial diseases with rational use and healthy living conditions. Based on the achievements of occupational hygiene, such a branch as industrial sanitation has been developed. G.P. actively fights against a number of occupational conditions harmful to health and in some cases has achieved brilliant success. This was the case, for example, with the best organization of all aspects of the life of workers in the USA (control of air, water, noise, light, etc.), among Belgian workers, with the most rational system of planning and improvement of apartments in many countries.
